New Publication on Drought Risk and Adaptation on the Wind River Indian Reservation

The Wind River Indian Reservation, home to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes, is susceptible to frequent, severe droughts that threaten tribal livelihoods and cultural activities. A new report describes the results of interviews with local water and resource managers to document local understandings of drought – part of a North Central CSC funded project on the reservation’s drought vulnerability and preparedness.
