Wolf Management Plan Development Workshop

Native American Fish is pleased to provide a peer-to-peer opportunity to develop management plans to improve wolf management within tribal jurisdictions. Whether you are living with wolves, wish to improve current wolf populations, or anticipate the arrival of wolves this training is for you.
Course Registration:
NAFWS Members or Member tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes.
NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150.
This workshop will be capped at 15 participants. Please limit registration to two representatives per Tribe or Tribal Organization.
Event Outline:
Tuesday July 30th
- 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Meet and greet, Training Registration
- 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Introductions and establishment of management plan goals and objectives
- 10: 00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Break
- 10:15 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Structure of Management Plan
- 12: 00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch
- 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Peer-to-peer presentations on established management plans: structuring Individual Plans to meet tribal needs, independent and group work
Wednesday July 31st
- 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Writing and structuring of plan, peer-peer collaboration

Lodging: NAFWS will cover the lodging for the first ten participants at the Best Western Vista Inn; 2645 W Airport Way, Boise, ID 83705. Limited travel assistance is available.
