Wilderness First Aid Training

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society will be hosting a Wilderness First Aid Training on June 18-19, 2024. This workshop will be held at Glacier Peaks Hotel and Casino in Browning, MT. Lodging for the nights of June 17-19, 2024 will be covered for all registered participants. This 16 hour Wilderness First Aid course includes basic life support (CPR for adult/child/infant & AED), Wilderness Anaphylaxis Training, and covers injuries and illnesses common when traveling or working in remote areas. We will learn proper bleeding control methods, heat and cold injury prevention and treatment, as well as how to identify and treat medical issues such as diabetic and cardiac emergencies.
Course Registration:
NAFWS members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes.
NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150.
This workshop will be capped at 24 participants. Both Biologists and CLEOs are encouraged to apply.
Please limit registration to two representatives per Tribe or Tribal Organization.
Lodging: Three nights of lodging from June 17-19, 2024 are provided to all participants at Glacier Peaks Hotel and Casino; 50 Museum Loop, Browning, MT. 59417
