Greetings! This year our 2025 NAFWS Annual National Conference is hosting the Buffalo Stampede 5K Fun Run and Walk along with the Wind River Tribes! Participation is in-person. Members and Non-members must register and receive the flat rate price of $45. Student price is offered at $35. The proceeds will go towards funding our scholarships that are awarded to Native Scholars pursuing degrees in the Natural Resources and related fields.
If you register by April 16th, 2025, you will receive a Buffalo Stampede tee shirt in your size! Registration after April 16th does not guarantee a tee shirt. Register online here, or in person at the on-site registration desk: cash, check and card are accepted forms of payment.
Race Day Details: Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Attendees will be back by the time for NR Tours, tours leave at 9:00 a.m.
7:00 a.m.: Meet at Race Location
7:05 a.m. – 7:10 a.m.: Safety Briefing & Overview
7:10 a.m.: Race Starts; 8:30 a.m. Race Ends
Preparation: Double-check your luggage! Pack warm clothes for the run such as beanies/headbands, long running pants/tights, long sleeves, gloves etc.
