USDA’s Farm and Food Workers Relief Grant Program Payments through Cherokee Nation

Cherokee Nation is providing one-time $600 payments to eligible federally recognized tribal citizens through the Farm and Food Workers Relief Program.

This funding is for frontline agricultural and meatpacking workers who were paid for at least one hour of agricultural or meatpacking work between January 27, 2020, through May 11, 2023.

Cherokee Nation encourages tribal citizens to review the eligibility requirements to see if they are eligible for this funding. Interested tribal citizens can visit Cherokee Nation’s FFWR website (https://ffwr.cherokee.org) to apply for the one-time payment and to review more information regarding this program.
