The 2024 Southwest Regional Conference will be held August 13-15, 2024, in Lemoore, CA at the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort.

Regular/On-Site Registration Fees (After July 29, 2024):

  • Regular and On-site Member Tribe and Individual Member Rate: $275.00
  • Regular and On-site Non-Member Rate: $325.00
  • Student Registration Rate: $150.00 (Send proof of enrollment to Ashley Mueller, [email protected])

Room Reservations

To make reservations at Tachi Palace Casino & Resort, please call (559) 924-7751 and mention: “NAFWS Southwest Region Conference”.

  • The room rate is $119.00 per night excluding taxes and resort fees.
  • There will be a refundable $50.00 Incidental Fee per night held on the provided card nd it will be released upon check out, which may take 5-7 business days for that hold to be released back to account. Credit Card holds may also take 5-7 business days to clear.
  • The deadline for this special rate is August 5, 2024.
  • To avoid charges to your Debit/Credit card. You do have the option to provide a CASH Deposit of $100.00 to Tachi Palace Casino & Resort. The $100.00 CASH Deposit will be refunded to you after Checkout, after housekeeping checks the room and as long as no fees or damages are found, the guests will receive the $100 back in cash.
  • If your Tribal Finance Department requires further justification for the Cash Deposit, a written letter on the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort letterhead can be provided to assist with justification for travel. Contact: Darren Talayumptewa, [email protected] to receive this letter.

  • Eligibility: NAFWS Tribal Member or Individual Member | Natural Resource Professional | Enrolled Citizen of Federally Recognized Tribe within NAFWS SW Region
  • Funding is through reimbursement up to $1,500.00 | Eligible expenses: Lodging | Per Diem | Airfare and/or Mileage | Shuttles/Lyft/Uber.
