Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Training

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society, in partnership with the Alaska Migratory Bird Co-Management Council, is excited to announce a Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in person training held in conjunction with the AMBCC’s statewide Spring meeting. This training will take place in Anchorage, AK on April 10-11, 2025. This training will comprehensively address the history of HPAI, its impacts on both domestic and wild animals, and crucial field safety protocols. Additionally, the program will feature a session on sampling techniques, a panel discussion with agency partners, and collaborative group discussions aimed at identifying key research needs.

This workshop will be capped at 20 participants.
