Invasive Species Management Workshop

Native American Fish and Wildlife Society and the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians

 

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society and the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians are excited to announce a invasive species management in person training. This training will take place at the La Jolla Tribe campground on April 28-30, 2025. In this training participants will learn the elements needed in a management plan for successful management of invasive species; how to conduct inventories for invasive species; control techniques. There will be both classroom and field elements, including inventories and tree planting. Please come prepared for field work and with a laptop or notebook to work on preparing an invasive species management plan. 

Course Registration:

NAFWS members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes. Travel assistance available to NAFWS Members. You must be signed in as a Member to reflect the benefits of membership.

NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150.

This workshop will be capped at 15 participants.  

Please limit registration to two representatives per Tribe or Tribal Organization.
