2024 Native Women in Agriculture & Natural Resources Symposium
March 19 – 21, 2024 | Keshena, WI | Page Updated: 03/17/24
The Native American Fish & Wildlife Society & University of Arizona Tribal Extension Program are organizing the Native Women in Agriculture & Natural Resources Symposium on March 19 – 21 at Menominee Casino & Resort in Keshena, WI. We have our wonderful hosts, College of Menominee Nation collaborating with us!
This three-day in-person symposium will bring in Native women from across Indian country that are doing work in natural resources and agriculture sectors to discuss topics such as workplace wellness, salary negotiation, women empowerment, leadership skills building, healthy relationship building, and safety. Covering such topics can help provide American Indian/Alaskan Native women the tools and support system to aid in their career journeys, build community and sustain representation within the fields.
***This event/affinity space is intended and dedicated for Native individuals and representatives of Tribes/ Tribal/Native Organizations within the agriculture and natural resources fields that identify as women.***
***Currently, we are not offering travel funding assistance or scholarships.***
