2024 Southeast and Northeast Joint Regional Conference

September 10-11, 2024 in Warsaw, VA

The 2024 Southeast and Northeast Joint Regional Conference hosted by the Rappahannock Tribe will be held September 10-11, 2024, in Warsaw, VA at the Rappahannock Tribe Indigenous Environmental Education Center, 2570 Newland Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572.

Regular/On-Site Registration Fees:

  • Regular and On-site Member Tribe and Individual Member Rate: $150.00
  • Regular and On-site Non-Member Rate: $250.00 (Includes $ 50.00 Membership Fee)

Natural Resource Tour information:

Fall migratory bird walk through the Cat Point Creek Refuge unit (2570 Newland Rd, Warsaw)

  • Along with bird sightings and identification, the naturalist leading the walk will also be able to answer questions about other Virginia flora and fauna observed throughout the tour.

Tour of the Rappahannock Tribe’s Government Center and the Chief’s House Rehabilitation site (5036 Indian Neck Rd, St. Stephen’s Church, VA 23148)

  • The tour includes the current government operations in Indian Neck, as well as Otho S. & Susie P. Nelson House is on the National Register of Historic Places, which was the home of three chiefs and the heart of the 20th century tribe. Transportation for up to 9 guests will be provided by the Tribe and ample parking available for those who wish to drive their own vehicles.
